WA Cook Labor Government Spends $217.5+ million to save endangered species

Deputy Premier, Transport and Everything Else Minister, Ms Rita Saffiotti MLA has just announced that the WA Labor Government is prepared to spend more than $217.5 million to save an endangered species in our State.

V8 Supercars has been struggling as a species over many decades and to save it from extinction it requires many more areas of habitat and a lot more taxpayers’ money.

The major threat to this fragile entity are the terrifying population of NIMBYs who seek to destroy Supercars environment. They are trying to replace racetracks and hard infrastructure with Supercars natural predators, native trees, plants and animal species.

Luckily some of Supercars major advocates, the Environmental Protection Authority and the WA Planning Commission, are fully aware of this threat and have managed to ensure they are eradicated to enable the perpetuity of the V8 species.

Thankfully with this extra funding from our WA Government V8 Supercars will flourish on the banks of our precious Derbarl Yerrigan.

Remember in years to come when we are all privileged to hear the 100+ decibels mating call of the Supercars bouncing off Crown Towers and all along the Swan River we will know who to thank.
